Alasdair Muir’s primary discipline is business management and development (including project management) however his business development activities are varied and diverse. With over three decades’ experience in marketing and sales, he now oversees business development activities in three main areas:
Strategy: Alasdair has initiated many successful business, sales and marketing strategies during his career. With Horsetiger, he has guided numerous private clinics from the initial stages of business planning all the way through to business stability and success. He has developed numerous marketing strategies for clients, spanning digital, print and advertising, which can be seen here. In sales, he has restructured companies’ approaches to sales, built sales teams from scratch, as well as downsizing sales operations to increase efficiency, examples of which are listed below.
Management: Alasdair has a strong track record of building and restructuring teams. He has worked on interim management projects for many companies (and on several occasions he has been offered permanent positions within these companies) where he has reevaluated the management structure and processes of the business.
Negotiation: Alasdair has frequently brought value to businesses in the fields of property search, equipment procurement and negotiations with contractors and professionals.
