Horsetiger become UK agent for Axis Three
Horsetiger, the marketing and management consultancy specialising in the private healthcare market, has recently signed an agreement with Axis Three to promote their 3D surgical simulation tools for the cosmetic surgery market.

The Axis Three technology provides an answer to the patients most important question, “what will I look like?”, in a manner that ensures communications between patient and surgeon are crystal clear. Explaining what is or is not possible and what is involved, is necessary to ensure that patients have realistic expectations of the outcome. Being able to see and agree an outcome prior to surgery is hugely advantageous for all involved, especially when the patient views their own body in the images.
To have value, measurements need to be accurate and consistent and be in a format that surgeons are used to dealing with. The Axis Three solution creates standard measurement and volume tables from the captures image, that allow the surgeon to make suitable implant selections and to highlight any significant asymmetries that they feel are relevant to a particular patient.
Built in look up tables from major implant manufacturers allow the surgeon to select a suitable implant profile and volume to match the physique of the patient and the patient’s requirements. Selecting the implant places it automatically in the simulation, which the surgeon can then fine tune as required.
